(Part One)
I was trapped inside a box with walls as white as snow. I heard footsteps coming towards me and I started to panic. The sight of those creatures wearing white while their faces were hidden made me shiver with fear. They were devils disguised as angels.
I started screaming as I realized that the distance between us was no more than an inch. I tried pushing them away but they got the best of me.
They brought it again. I have always wondered why they had to hurt me. I felt the pain enveloping from my left arm. Once again, they have punctured my being.
"Why?" I asked one of them. The devil in white with golden flowing hair answered me. Her voice sounded so delightful and angelic.
"Because it is needed so." She then flashed me a warm smile. How could she smile at me after tormenting me?
They freed me, left me on the cold floor lying down. I couldn't even move my body. I felt drowsy as the seconds pass by, 'til all I could see is darkness.
Everything was a blur but what made it seem clear was the familiar ceiling of my room. I could hear constant whispers and strange sounds that made me want to cover my ears.
I looked around to see that there wasn't a single trace of any living thing present in my room besides myself. Where was all the whispers coming from?
I looked around to see that there was a wall with a different color. It was sliced open leading to another place but somehow it terrified me to even go near it because from what I could see, it was just plain darkness.
I saw a figure smiling at me. It creeped me out so I shook my head for quite some time. I looked at the figure again only to see nothing but my old chair. Tears started to form at the corner of my eyes. They were here again. I couldn't even remember when was the last time I had a peace of mind. It scared me a lot.
I decided to go down because I could feel the thirst for water building up inside me. Terrified of what I might see, I still went through that wall, taking a step into the darkness.
I looked for the a lamp but I stumbled upon this window. I saw a figure in that window. He was copying me. His hair was a mess, he looked at me with unsteady eyes that looked like he hadn't slept for days. It was pitiful to look at him. Why in the world did I look like him? I looked for stairs as he was slowly fading out.
Luckily I found the first step down then another one and another one and another one till I reached the last step. I heard sobs from the living room and deep voices.
I could see someone with a familiar built in the corner of the room. Just like the same figure that I saw at the window.
Why was tears flowing from his eyes? What happened to him? I couldn't bear the sight so I looked away and continued walking.
